Kenzie Perry, SFLS Class of 2010, returned to South Dakota last summer to conduct impressive and important research on water quality near Hot Springs. As a geology and environmental studies double major at Gustavus Adolphus College, Perry hopes to attend grad school in the fall and apply the things she's learning through her research to a meaningful career in hydrology.

“I am not a rock person at all. I am captivated by the other side—the waterfalls, rivers, and any place where water is moving. Now, with more threats to water quality, understanding these processes is extremely important.” –Kenzie Perry, SFLS Class of 2010
