Our infant classroom is at capacity for the 2023-24 school year. Families who are interested in joining our wait pool may complete a 2023-24 admissions application, and our admissions office will contact you if and when a position becomes available.
About Infant Care
Our full-day infant class provides children between the ages of 6 weeks 1 year with warm, nurturing care and age-appropriate, Christ-centered social learning opportunities. As children grow and begin exploring the world around them, the class uses our preschool’s play-based approach, which engages young minds with a rich blend of fine and gross motor activities, tummy time, indoor and outdoor play, story and circle time, music, sensory activities, and social interactions.
Enrollment Options
Classes are available Monday—Friday
7:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
While full-time students receive admission preference, we offer flexible full day options for children age 2 and under. Families have the freedom to choose how many days and which days of the week children attend class. In our experience, children make greater strides in developing skills in all developmental domains when our program is a regular part of their week. Therefore, in order to help your child transition successfully into our classroom and get the most out of our program, we recommend enrolling a minimum of three days per week. All classes follow our school year calendar. A summer care program is also available for families who are in need of year-round care.
DROP-IN OPTIONS
Our drop-in program is designed to help you accommodate unforeseen childcare needs. Once the school year begins, simply check with your teacher, our early childhood director, or our admissions director to see which days and times we are able to accommodate drop-in students. To use the service, call 24 hours prior to your desired drop off time to confirm that we have an opening for your child. Participating children must be enrolled in preschool at Sioux Falls Lutheran School.
2024-25 TUITION RATES
Enrollment Fee: $400
(half of this fee applies as a deposit toward your 2024-25 tuition)
5 days per week: $1,100 per month
4 days per week: $880 per month
3 days per week: $660 per month
Drop-in care:
$75 per day
*Rates based on a 10-month payment plan.
**Full-time applicants receive admission preference.
