SFLS United Voters’ Meeting

Description:Please plan to attend the SFLS United Voters’ meeting at 1:30pm on October 27, 2024, so that we can meet each churches’ quorum requirement. Memorial’s quorum requirement is 72 communicant members.Voters will vote on two significant decisions:revision of the SFLS Articles of Incorporation, including simplifying the quorum requirements and updating the school’s 501(c)(3) tax exempt status [the specific amendments will be sent to voters next week] andapproval for Hoogendoorn Construction to install footings/foundations for the next two-story Upper School wing before winter frost, using existing cash available from the Imagine Immeasurably More capital campaign.After the voters’ meeting, we will have a formal groundbreaking and public kick-off for the upper school addition, followed by a ribbon cutting for the new Fitness Center. We hope to conclude all activities by 3:30pm. Childcare will be provided by our NHS during the voters’ meeting from 1:30-2:30pm. Childcare sign up details will be rolling out soon.
