The above paragraph is the opening paragraph of the school’s statement on vision, mission, and values. In a world where our children get information from a multitude of outside sources, we aid parents in providing a firm foundation, both academically and spiritually, for their child.
Sioux Falls Lutheran School was founded in 1977 and today is a cooperative ministry of five local Lutheran churches. Because of God’s blessings on SFLS, we offer the following advantages:
- Accreditation by the state of South Dakota as well as by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission
- A comprehensive program of academic excellence and faith-based education for children from the age of 3 through the 8th grade
- A full range of art and music classes, Spanish in grades K-8, as well as extracurricular sports and activities
- Dedicated, Lutheran teachers
- Parental involvement through PTF, field trips, Girl & Boy Scout programs, and sports programs
We offer multiple preschool classes for 3, 4, and 5-yr-olds at two locations. We provide an extensive range of opportunities for our elementary (K-5th), including half-day and full-day Kindergarten, and middle school (6th-8th grades). Click on the links for more information.
